All the Korean people warmly love and value their motherland. It is because the destiny and future of individuals and the happiness of all families are unthinkable apart from the socialist motherland.

Choe Kyong Il, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Development Institute of Kim Il Sung University, said longing for the motherland gets more ardent in an alien country far from it, and continued:

“I can’t express what I felt in a word when I left my motherland for the first time.

When I was making a joint research abroad, I was moved to tears in spite of myself at the thought of myself learning to my heart’s content in the motherland. So I made a determination to achieve more successes and repay the grateful state.”

Choe Kyong Il was born and grew up in a local town and had an unusual mathematical talent.

While studying under the genius education system thanks to the benefits of the socialist education system, he developed his talents in the bud and fostered his dream to become a scientist.

After graduating from Kim Il Sung University as hoped, he started his scientific researches at the Intellectual Development Institute.

He was abroad for four years from 2014, when he thought of an IT product which can make a contribution to the economic development of the country. After returning home, he got to research into it. He said:

“In reality, it was important to take good care of the equipment without trouble and prolong its life.

I learned program and frankly speaking, I didn’t know machinery well as hardware was not my major. But I buckled down to this research project with a determination to do it myself.

At first, I was faced with many difficulties because I was unfamiliar with machinery and equipment.”

Choe Kyong Il made tens of simulations and concrete analysis of data. In the course of it, he intensified the research into the equipment management system that monitors the state of machinery and equipment in real time and predicts their troubles.

There were many sci-tech problems to be solved. But he developed a greatly effective system of monitoring the state of machines and diagnosing their troubles which is suitable for the actual conditions of the country and introduced it into many units.

He was awarded a doctorate in 2023, three years after receiving a master’s degree. He said:

“In 2023 I became a doctor and my mother attended a national conference of mothers.

My mother often told me to work hard and have a photo taken with the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and keep it as an heirloom.

The state invited my mother to the national conference of mothers as I became a doctor in my 30s. My mother took part in the conference and had a picture taken with Kim Jong Un. She wept herself hoarse at that time.

My mother’s desire came true under the good social system

I am a doctor and the desire of my family has come true. I must repay the benefits of the state.

It is my aim to make an intellectual and digital management system which can make a contribution to the country in the field of equipment management. I think it is the way of repayment to make such system and give a great help to the field of machinery and equipment of the country.”

Socialist Korea is boundlessly prosperous thanks to such people with the desire of repayment and patriotism.
