Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) — Kim Yo Jong, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, issued the following press statement on Thursday:
The rogues, who endangered the situation in the Korean peninsula through a self-composed farce, causing a stir, orchestrate another farce on the theme of “good will” this time, stunning the world people.
On October 7, the authorities of the ROK made public that they submitted a “request for exemption from sanctions” to the UNSC sanctions committee on the DPRK in May so as to “offer medical equipment” to the DPRK and, consequently, won the “approval for exemption”.
In particular, guys of the ROK thoughtlessly stated in the “request” that they would make a contribution to the “improvement of the primary medical service for a vulnerable class”, talking about someone’s “lack of medicines and medical equipment and deterioration of public health situation”.
This is an insult to our state and mutant political-motivated provocation against it and a grave encroachment upon our national law.
It is, indeed, a noisy and ugly act.
Another farce, orchestrated in parallel with the “mine explosion” farce, is also an extraordinary spectacle.
Under the situation in which many doubtable points about the recent “mine explosion case” have not been cleared, a series of dog fights has continued between the two sides claiming “accident or provocation” in the ROK.
Official of the ROK Jong Tong Yong, too, confessed that it is difficult to judge that the “mine explosion case” is a deliberate attack by the DPRK.
Now when it is impossible to expect a good box-office record from their poor farce, they have created another farce titled “a scenario for aiding medical equipment”, the part 2 of the “mine explosion case”.
It is not too difficult to understand why they created contradictory farces simultaneously.
The ROK, which is crying out for the implementation of the strong “diplomatic and military countermeasures” together with the announcement of the “final investigation result” related to the “mine explosion” farce, has suddenly revealed its plot for “aid” which has been pursued for months, talking about the “building of confidence” under the signboard of “humanism”.
We know enough about their real intention.
Under the present situation, those, who must be aware of the fact that medical equipment supported by the ROK cannot enter our territory and there is no way for introducing them, are resorting to such a farce. This is a sinister political calculation to get anything by comparing their “well-meaning attitude” with our “conflicting attitude” to reject them.
All their acts cannot be easily understood in common sense.
The Seoul authorities’ acts are mixed with unilateral judgment, unilateral decision and unilateral announcement. There are two doubts whether they are political immature guys or truly born idiots who can never be remodeled.
If they really want to reverse the relations between the DPRK and the ROK, they should be conscious of their rival’s feelings in every word and action and show their utmost respect, solicitude and sincerity before anything.
The Seoul authorities are revealing their more despicable colors with the passage of time.
The chief culprits, who cooked up the farce called “mine explosion case” and declared the all-out confrontation with the DPRK, are talking about “humanitarian aid”. This is the true picture of the ROK characterized by peculiar duplicity, impudence and shamelessness hard to be found anywhere.
We have nothing to exchange or go with the ROK and no need to face to face with it. We make it clear once again that it is the unshakable stand of the DPRK.
No matter whether the most disgusting and mean betesnoires have an evil intention or “good faith”, any attempt of theirs will be regarded as a challenge and grave provocation to the DPRK and a violation of its sovereignty.
We will never sit face to face with the ROK forever, and we will make them feel again the fact that history can never be reversed.
This time the ROK authorities made another big mistake.
The crime committed by the ROK, which insulted our inviolable state and people with the list of dirty things, will be settled accounts thoroughly, downright and without regret.
There will be no change in the true colors of the ROK most hostile to the DPRK and the hostile nature of the DPRK-ROK relations. -0-
