The people are regarded as the most valuable beings in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and they keep in their minds the truth that nothing is more precious than the socialist motherland.
The 77-year-history of the DPRK which has defended the people by dint of love and enabled them to live a genuine life with devoted service is shining as a history in which it has trained the good people sharing their destiny with the country and achieved victories with them.
The Korean people have covered a course of trials unprecedented in history, but in the trials they had a better understanding of the genuine superiority and might of their ideology and social system and more firmly believed that they can enjoy a dignified and happy lives only under flag of the DPRK.
In late July last year, North Phyongan Province and some zones of Jagang and Ryanggang provinces were simultaneously hit by flood due to a record downpour in the northern border areas. The government of the DPRK conducted a campaign to repair the flood damage, working a miracle in the history of construction by building modern multi- and single-storied houses for more than 15,000 families, schools and hospitals in a little over four months.
In those days, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un went to a flood-prone area in North Phyongan Province to command rescue operations, called on flood-sufferers and took measures one after another to repair the damage and provide the victims with a new happy life as soon as possible.
On December 21 last year, he took part in the inauguration ceremony of dwelling houses in flood-hit areas of North Phyongan Province and said as he saw the result of the campaign, he felt confident that the lower reaches of the Amnok would remain durable in another severe flooding in 100 years; and as the flood victims would start a new life on the islands transformed beyond their original appearance, he was pleased with a feeling of relief.
And he unfolded a grand plan to implement a new regional development project on the shore of the Amnok River.
On February 10, 2025 Kim Jong Un took part in the groundbreaking ceremony of the largest-ever greenhouse farm and the vegetable science research centre and made a rallying speech.
He said: “What you will build is a large-scale greenhouse farm, and yet what surpasses it by far is the prestige of our dignified state, a beautiful life of our beloved people and a lofty ideal we are going to achieve.”
His passionate speech touched the heartstrings of not only the builders but also all other Korean people.
The Korean people keenly felt through their actual life and experience that best are this country and social system that regard the people as the God, though many things were insufficient and difficult, and protect the people from anything threatening their lives and life, whether it is war, health crisis or natural disaster.
The DPRK has been changed beyond recognition and developed rapidly in the long course since its foundation, but its popular character and the original features of the socialist system of Korean style have never changed.
That’s why the Korean people proudly say that this country and socialist system they live in are the best.
As long as the character and nature of the DPRK, a genuine people’s country, remain unchanged, this land will be peaceful and prosperous forever and the safety and happiness of the Korean people be defended for all ages.
