Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) — On the occasion of the national day, the DPRK people are recollecting with deep emotion the immortal exploits of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who further consolidated the powerful self-defence capacity of the country.
In his speech made on the occasion of September 9, 2024, the founding anniversary of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un said:
Strong power – this just means a genuine peace and an absolute guarantee for the development of our state.
Steadily enhancing the capabilities of our army for fighting a war so as to cope with the regional security environment on its own initiative and to defend the sovereignty, security and interests of the state by dint of a powerful strength is the most important of the state affairs of our Party and government and the primary task of the revolution, he stressed.
It is the steadfast patriotic creed of Kim Jong Un to turn the DPRK into the most powerful country in the world by bolstering up the self-defence capacity.
Kim Jong Un guided the test-fire of submarine-launched strategic cruise missile in January 2024 and the artillery firing drill of the large combined units of the Korean People’s Army in March 2024, etc.
The days of his leadership are associated with his patriotic devotion to the people and the rising generation.
Thanks to his devoted efforts to bolster up the powerful self-defence capacity, the DPRK has grown stronger, the dignity of the people has been further enhanced and an irreversible guarantee for the prosperity of the DPRK has been provided.
