The Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) together with the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea held an on the 8th of September 2025 at 1900 hours via Telegram.
Participating were members of KFA UK and the British Group for the Study of the Juche idea from London ,Staffordshire and Hampshire as well as international guests from KFA Germany KFA France, KFAUSA and the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland.
Dr Dermot Hudson Chairman of KFA UK and Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that “ The foundation of the DPRK was a powerful inspiration to the oppressed peoples of the world ,groaning under imperialist oppression, in their struggle for independence and national liberation. It was also a great inspiration to the international proletariat advancing towards socialism .”
He concluded with the following ;
“Today under the leadership of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the DPRK is surging ahead at Chollima and Mallima speed with whole new streets springing up literally out of bare earth . I saw this with my own eyes ; Ryomyong Street was just flat ground in April 2016 but when I returned on year later in April 2017 a whole new street of skyscrapers and all kinds of modern cultural facilities had appeared . In the northern part of the DPRK a whole new city was built in Samijyon . Now a massive programme of construction in rural villages has been undertaken with 80,000 new homes built so far . The 20x 10 regional development policy has been rolled out with many new factories have been constructed . The DPRK is racing ahead towards a socialist paradise . So the people of the DPRK have plenty to celebrate on their national day .”
The Chairman of KFA Germany said that “ Tomorrow is the 77th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People´s Republic of Korea. This great anniversary is an important weapon in the hands of the supporters of People´s Korea. Because it proves, that People´s Korea is a stable country. Almost everyday you can read new articles by the western press claiming People´s Korea will collapse soon. The reality is, People´s Korea is the longest existing socialist country in the world. The soviet union didn’t even get 70 years old, the DPRK will be 77 years old tomorrow” and added that “the DPRK builds 50 000 flats in Pyongyang and also many new homes in rural areas…This is what People´s Korea achieved in its 77 years of socialist constriction. This is the reality of the DPRK. And despite of all this achievements the fake-left in the western countries still continue to criticise the DPRK. But let me ask you this: What are the achievements of the western fake-left? What are the achievements of the “Linkspartei”, the “Democrats” and the British “Labour Party”
The Chairman of Staffordshire KFA UK praised the 77th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK is a significant event. He recalled visiting the DPRK in 2018 for the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK . During the visit he was able to see the captured “USS Pueblo “ and actually meet with Pak In Ho the commander of the KPA navy storming party which captured the “USS Pueblo “ in 1968 . Also he was able to see the mass game “Glorious Country “.
A letter to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted .
A short video “ People’s Country “ was shown and a video of the military parade for the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the Korean People’s Army was shown .
