In late August the Voice of Korea reported the news that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un attended the inaugural ceremony of the Ragwon County Offshore Farm and cut the inauguration tape.

It was not for the first time that such news of the great era of regional development was reported .

The Voice of Korea reported the news of the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of regional-industry factories in Songchon County as part of the project to implement the “Regional Development 20×10 Policy” held in the presence of Kim Jong Un in late February 2024 and the news of his participation in the inaugural ceremony of the regional-industry factories in Songchon County in December.

Afterwards, the news of the inauguration of the Sinpho City Offshore Farm and other regional-industry factories in 20 cities and counties across the country was reported one after another.

Such a miraculous reality that groundbreaking is soon followed by inauguration is a priceless entity made by the Workers’ Party of Korea which regards it as its political mode to absolutely defend the dignity, rights and interests of the people, solve all the problems by depending on the inexhaustible strength of the masses of the people and serve the people.

Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, considers it as an immutable political mode of the Party to give top priority to the demand and interests of the people in mapping out lines and policies, solve everything with the strength of the masses of the people and serve the people.

Recently, he presented a revolution to make the regional people enjoy a socialist civilization like the capital citizens as a Party policy. The content of the “Regional Development 20×10 Policy” is to further develop the elementary material and cultural living standards of the people across the country within ten years by building modern regional-industry factories in 20 cities and counties every year and accelerate the construction of three essential projects–advanced public health facilities, leisure complexes and grain management facilities.

The WPK has been able to carry on such bold and big projects as it translates the desire of the people into reality unconditionally and regards it as the most important work to promote the people’s well-being.

Kim Jong Un organized a powerful construction force to implement the regional development policy and gave field guidance to the construction sites in succession.

When he called at the construction sites, he learned about the situation in detail and stressed the need to build the regional-industry factories perfectly even in the distant future, whose construction was promised by the Party with the people. And he said it is necessary to operate the factories at full capacity immediately after their completion and make good preparations for creating raw material bases and training skilled workers so that the people could benefit from them.

He considered the efforts of the builders and highly appreciated them in those days of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people, not thinking of his devoted efforts.
