Report of 7th KFA UK Reading Session on the booklet “Understanding Korea Volume 9 Human Rights “

The Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea held its 7th reading session on the booklet “Understanding Korea -Volume 9 -Human Rights “ on the 17th of September at 1900 hours BST via Telegram .

Participating were members of KFA UK from London , Scotland and other parts of the UK as well as guests from KFA Andalusia(Spain ) , KFA Germany , the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland and also guests from the Netherlands and Germany.

Dr Dermot Hudson ,chairman of KFA UK read out sections of the booklet “ Understanding Korea Volume 9- Human Rights “ which explained in detail that in the DPRK the right to life is guaranteed as well as personal liberty , inviolability of the person , freedom from torture , the right to a fair trial , the right to an adequate living standard and the right to scientific pursuits .

Dr Hudson and other participants stressed that in the DPRK people have the right to eat from the moment they are born which guaranteed by food being supplied at a price next to nothing .

A participant said that even when there was bad flooding in the DPRK , respected Marshal KIM JONG UN made sure those affected were taken care of and evacuated to Pyongyang .

It was explained in the discussions that in the DPRK no one can be arrested or have their home searched without a warrant but in the UK this right no longer exists .

Participants said that in the UK and other capitalist countries people have been arrested for writing things on Twitter or supporting a Palestine solidarity group.
