The UK government committed a political provocation of including the Songdowon International Children’s Camp on the list of sanctions against Russia on an unfair and groundless excuse in May.
In this regard, the government of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea took action to lower the level of diplomatic relations with the UK to that of chargé d’affaires, as a part of the former’s diplomatic countermeasure it announced earlier.
Recalled DPRK ambassador to the UK will be transferred to another duty.
