Dear comrades and friends,
It is a great pleasure to be together with you in this important time, when we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the KFA with our title “DPRK, beacon of hope for the world and mankind”.
The DPRK is the demonstration of what the human can do, when the selfish and animal traces in man, are set aside for the benefit of the common good.
A regular word that one can see all around the DPRK is “Rakwon” meaning “Paradise”. This is because since the liberation and creation of the republic, the dream of our Eternal President KIM IL SUNG was to create a society that will be sovereign, based on equality, free from exploitation and where the Korean people will live a prosperous life in community.
His dream became a reality and it’s difficult to understand how such a small country could survive against all threats and wars from the attacking empires. Generalissimo KIM IL SUNG devoted his everything for the good of the people, he never looked for himself and found his happiness by making the others happy. This is an example followed by our Great Leaders KIM JONG IL and KIM JONG UN, and that became the basis of unity and strength of today’s DPRK.
As the world get immersed in inequality, criminality, wars, racial, religious conflict and drugs, the DPRK is free from such diseases. How is it possible? Because the Korean people valued their culture, independence and dignity over imported orders and oppression of the big imperialist powers. The creation of Juche, has shown that only by adapting socialism to the reality and culture of each country, it can be successful in breaking apart from the capitalist decadence.
Many people use the word “Socialism” in a very distorted manner. When a nation puts 80% of their companies in private hands, when the people is allowed to gamble and speculate in the stock market, when one person can rent and buy properties benefitting from the necessity of others, that country has betrayed the basic principles of a fair society. Rich and poor classes will be created and the inequality circle will be perpetuated. So, according to such principles there is only one real socialist country in the world, and that is the DPRK.
After becoming a superpower in the construction and military fields, the DPRK is now aiming to become an economic tiger. Now that the worst times are gone, that the national production has been upgraded and the economic sanctions have been partially broken due to the renewed relations with Russia, the DPRK can truly show the economic potential of its socialism. Recent news just informed that Russia is willing to develop the exploration of oil in the East Sea of Korea. The access to such essential goods will also propel the independent economy.
I am confident that in few years, the DPRK will demonstrate its superiority by becoming a modern, civilized society with all kind of consumption products available to all its citizens, and that countries that in the past sidelined with the U.S. empire will come knocking at our doors.
When I created the KFA 25 years ago, the goal was to have an organization of friends that defend and support the country, becoming a bridge of cultural understanding between nations.
There was one big difference with other friendship organizations or groups. We will not allow KFA to be manipulated by other parties and we will not let opportunistic people to join for their private interest/benefit.
I am pleased to inform that in the last year our leadership and membership has been consolidated. .
We’re adding new friends on a daily basis and in the last months we’ve seen more young members willing to take responsibilities. We are developing our contacts and friendship with many influencers in internet, having interviews reaching hundreds of thousands in audience and there’re many individuals, companies and organizations that depend on us for accurate and objective information and updates of the reality in the DPRK.
I want to thank all of you that have been supporting and accompanying KFA in its creation and long way of 25 years of history, specially to Ri Jong Gun dongji, Chang Chung Sik dongji, Mun Jae Chol dongji, Pak Kwang Ung dongji, Kang Hyon Gyu dongji and give a warm welcome to the new members that are joining us today.
An a special deep respect and memory for President Kim Yong Nam dongji, who recently passed away, always supported our work and said that “KFA is the locomotive that leads the friendship and defense of the DPRK all around the world”.
Let’s continue together our journey by defending the legacy of our Great Leaders and the honor of the DPRK.
