Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) — Meritorious creators and artistes of the National Symphony Orchestra were awarded Kim Il Sung Prize and orders of the DPRK.
Kim Il Sung Prize was conferred on Conductor Ho Mun Yong, Order of National Flag First Class on composer Kang Su Gi, Order of Labour on instrumentalists An Ryong Hwan, Pyon Song Ok and Han Chol, Order of National Flag Second Class on instrumentalists Kim Song Ho, Ri Chol, Yun Chol Ho and Jong Hyon Hui, and Order of National Flag Third Class on instrumentalists Pae Ki Yong, Ri Kyong Gun, Ri Song Jin, Hwang Il Sok and Choe U Chol and Composer Kim Hak Il.
They have made a positive contribution to creating and depicting masterpieces of the era of the Workers’ Party by displaying their creative wisdom and enthusiasm while firmly equipping themselves with the Party’s Juche-oriented ideology and theory on art and literature and working for a long time in the art sector, and to encouraging the masses of the people to implement the Party’s policies through revolutionary art activities.
